The Bichon Frise is a small white dog that loves human company. Its very intelligent and loving, sociable and loves being in a family that takes them around everywhere.
The Bichon Frise loves to be the center of attention, the kind that wants to sit on your lap and follow you around everywhere. It makes for a good family dog, though its small size may expose it to certain injury risks, especially in a family with small children. They do tend to get rather prissy and irritable when they’re disturbed.
They do, however, get along well with other household pets. They do not do well being alone for long periods, and can start to chew away at themselves. They can also bark out of boredom and loneliness. The Bichon Frise has relatively good hearing and tends to bark often.
They require regular short walks. They are significantly of the social variety of dog species, they love to go out and see people, experience the outdoors. They do best in a loving family environment, and they require a lot of patience because they are part of the breeds that are ridiculously hard to house train.
